We are writing this letter as an endorsement of Lynn Jackson personally, and her agency generally, for real estate services in the State of Vermont. This support comes from personal experience and a happy transaction. There are at least three aspects separating Mrs. Jackson from Conventional real estate agencies: Lynn Jackson knows the market! Apart from being a native of the area she works in, she has the network and passion for knowledge to service her clients. While the average agent will know the market, Lynn has the skill to create a supply of not yet available properties that potentially meet her customers wishes. Lynn Jackson knows her customers! In retrospect, our own experience with Lynn show that we were not able to articulate our wants precisely, yet she listened and interpreted what we said to match our hopes. Lynn Jackson IS real estate! For Lynn real estate is what she does, it’s not what she also does, it’s not a second career or a hobby. These fact together, coupled with an uncompromising work ethic, results in good client service We wish her success.

Working With An Agent >Discuss Your Options
When you are working with a real estate agent to find a home, it is very important that you take the time to discuss the full range of your housing and financing options. Your real estate agent wants to understand your criteria and your expectations. Be very clear about the features you want in a home, describing what elements are essential to you and where you are willing to compromise.
When you start looking at homes, you may find that the available homes in your price range require much more of a financial commitment than you were prepared to make. Let your agent know if you are willing to consider alternative mortgage options to increase your buying power. Discuss the possibilities for buying in an area you had not previously considered. Would you consider a house with the same amenities in a different neighborhood, a "handyman special", a smaller yard or fewer bedrooms? An open mind and honest communication are crucial ingredients as you work with your real estate agent to find the best possible home for your needs.
